ghazali and al farisi

Zainab Al Ghazali, srikandi Islam, Ummul Mujahidah abad ini. Pernah dengar kisah perjuangan beliau? Just go and google her name. Find the book "Ayyam fi Hayati", Days in my Life. Read those inspiring stories of her battle in defending her faith.

A woman of honor, who dedicated her life fully for Allah. Everything else go second but Islam is always first. She even conditioned her husband to let her put Islam above everything else on the day the were tied together. If there was a moment where she had to choose between Islam and her marriage, she chose Islam, definitely no doubt.

And those tortures by the evil Jamal Abdul Naser and his troop never succeed in shaking her faith, not even close to it.  Even dogs at that time had better sense of humanity compared to the evil troops.

She passes away in 2005, that was not a long period ago. Truly, her spirit shall aspire akhawat to strive better for the ummah! Aiyohh!

Al Farisi, on the other hand, is the unsung hero of Muslim, who had the brilliant idea of the Trench which gave victory to Muslims without even have to be in war during al-Khandak. :)

Born in rich and well bred and loved by his father, Salman was never satisfied with his current state. Being a practicing Majusi at that time was all he devoted himself to until the moment he saw how the Nasrani performed their rituals and he fell in love with the new religion. He decided to follow his instinct and finally (of course the kissah between these two points are longer than how i wrote it here), his thirst for the ultimate Ad-Deen was finally quenched when he found all the 3 signs of prophethood on Muhammad SAW.

Imagining myself in his place, I wouldnt have gone that far to find the Deen. Alhamdulillah I am born as a muslim, but to be the real muslim , thats the toughest part, indeed! to walk the talk. to ensure that i am a muslim , in all means.

seronok rupanya kisah sirah para sahabat. sayangnya sistem pendidikan di Malaysia yang terlalu exam-oriented membuatkan diri ini hanya menghafal fakta semata tanpa menghayati setiap iktibar yang bisa dijadikan bekalan hidup. mungkin satu hari ini nanti (zaman anak2 sndri pergi sekolah), i wish the system woukd change, towards making students understand instead of memorizing blindly (thats what happened to me, maybe not to other, idk)

Berat rupanya tanggungjawab bawa usrah. Terutamanya when your mad'u are those who watch mufti menk, nouman ali khan, yasmin mogahed , etc and kept on quoting them in usrah. huahua. the usually 1-2 hours of usrah could go up to 5 hours! aha. nasib baik tanggungjawab ini di handle berdua. i work more on the technical parts tho. pengisian? hm. hati belum basah. mcm mana kan nak basahkan hati orang? T_T

exams exams exams.

"ade exam minggu ni?"
"ada . hari2 ada"
"wahhh!"
"exam hidup. setiap masa. takkan selesai selagi tubuh masih bernyawa dgn nyawa yg juga pinjaman dari Nya"

muhasabahhh..
